I started writing knitting patterns for toys in 2012. Back then, there simply weren’t enough knitting patterns for toys, let alone the animals I wanted to knit. I’m known for my patterns of unusual creatures from the animal kingdom— axolotols, possums, sloths and blue-footed boobies to name a few. Recently I’ve been adding some fantasy animals to the mix.

I wish I could say I’ll have patterns for things like cats and rabbits (both animals I love and that I’ve kept as pets), but frankly I am just…not great…at those kinds of designs. Weird little guys. That’s my jam.

Each of my patterns is designed and written by me, professionally tech edited, and pattern tested. No AI over here.

I’ve been published in Knitty and Knotions magazines, developed patterns for Red Heart’s Amigurumi yarn line, and participated in the Vogue Knitting Small Business Launchpad program in 2020.
